Trek states it 'recently transitioned Trek road bike sizing from numerical sizing to alpha sizing' and now publishes height and inseam only. The centimetre figures retailers print beside Trek letters are per-model seat-tube lengths, not size names: the same 'M' appears as 47.6 cm on a Madone and 50 cm on a Domane, and 'S' also appears as 47.6 cm.
