- Das ASTR RS ist ein leistungsorientiertes Gravelbike, das speziell für moderne Gravelrennen entwickelt wurde. Dies zeigt sich in der bahnbrechenden Reifenfreiheit von 52 mm – ein führender Schritt in der Kategorie, mit dem wir der wachsenden Tendenz zu breiteren Reifen vorgreifen. Gravelrennen werden immer rauer, während die Fahrer schneller unterwegs sind als je zuvor – das stellt neue Anforderungen an das Bike.
- Das Astr RS nutzt außerdem aerodynamisch optimierte Rohrformen sowie eine Gabel mit integriertem Diffusor, basierend auf unserer Aero-zu-Gewicht-Studie des Falcn RS. Die Geometrie vermittelt Vertrauen und sorgt für Stabilität bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten (längerer Radstand, flacherer Lenkwinkel, tieferes Tretlager).
- Fahrer müssen während des Rennens mehr Energie sparen. Optimierte Aerodynamik, mehr Komfort, geringerer Rollwiderstand durch breitere Reifen und bessere Klettereigenschaften durch das geringe Gewicht sorgen dafür, dass die Fahrer mit mehr Energie im Tank ins Finale gehen als ihre Konkurrenten.
