Kein Wippen, kein Verlust – nur Du, Dein Antritt und der Anstieg, der schrumpft. Die Shimano Deore M6200 Zwölffach-Schaltung mit der 10-51t-Kassette hält Dir für jede Rampe den passenden Gang bereit, vom entspannten Kriechgang an der Steilwand bis zum langen Zug auf dem Forstweg. Die MT520-Kurbel mit 32 Zähnen und die M6100-Kette bilden dazu einen Antrieb, der einfach funktioniert – robust, leise und ohne Diskussionen, egal wie dreckig der Tag wird.<br><br>Bergab zeigt das Laufey dann sein wahres Gesicht. Die Fox 34 Float AWL Sport mit 140 mm bügelt Wurzeln und Kanten glatt, während Du über die Boost-Steckachse und den 800 mm breiten OC Mountain Control MC30 Lenker mit 20 mm Rise die Front exakt dorthin lenkst, wo Du sie haben willst. Der kurze, -7° geneigte 35-mm-Vorbau macht jede Lenkbewegung zur Ansage statt zur Bitte. Und wenn es Zeit wird, das Tempo zu zügeln, packen die Shimano MT600 Vierkolben-Hydraulikbremsen mit einer Dosierbarkeit zu, die Vertrauen schafft – auch nach der zehnten Kehre. Die tubeless-fähigen 29"-Alu-Laufräder mit dem Maxxis Dissector in 2.40" krallen sich in losen Untergrund und rollen auf hartem Boden trotzdem erstaunlich flott.
