Zwar bringt die tiefere Gabel und das großflächige Steuerrohr zunächst etwas mehr Gewicht mit sich, doch durch eine optimierte Carbon-Layup-Struktur und überarbeitetes Hardware-Design konnte Cervélo das Gesamtsystem spürbar leichter machen.
