- Das Crux DSW ist das leichteste Gravelbike aus Aluminium, das Specialized jemals entwickelt hat. Aber es ist so viel mehr als das. Alle Learnings aus der Entwicklung des Crux Carbon haben Specialized mit D’Aluisio Smartweld förmlich in Alu gegossen. Dank der patentierten Fertigungstechnik hat Specialized das leistungsfähigste, wendigste, ausgewogenste und agilste Gravelbike aus Aluminium aller Zeiten gebaut. Es ist perfekt für schnellste Rides auf höchstem Level oder einfach nur zum unheimlich viel Spaß haben. Einige werden es eine Kopie nennen, für Specialized hat es einen eigenen Namen verdient – Crux DSW.
- Rahmengröße 56 mit der leichtesten Lackierung wiegt gerade einmal 1.399 Gramm. Auch wenn andere Serienrahmen davon abweichen können, ist das Crux DSW damit das leichteste Gravelbike aus Alu aller Zeiten. Kombiniert mit unserer FACT 12r Crux Carbongabel kommt das auf Performance getrimmte und äußerst robuste Crux DSW auf ein Gesamtgewicht von 9,37 kg. Kein anderes Alu-Gravelbike kann damit mithalten.
- EXTREM LEISTUNGSFÄHIG:
- Mehr Reifenfreiheit bedeutet mehr Leistungsfähigkeit – deshalb hat das Crux DSW die gleiche Reifenfreiheit wie sein Counterpart aus Carbon: 47 mm bei 700C und bis zu 2,1 Zoll bei 650B. Damit bringt das Crux DSW Rider überall hin – und zwar mit Vollgas.
- Reaktionsschnell an den Pedalen. Geschmeidig im Sattel. D’Aluisio Smartweld eröffnet uns die Möglichkeit, die Formen des Aluminiums zu tunen und ein Fahrverhalten zu schaffen, das nur mit Carbon möglich schien. Denn natürlich besitzt das Crux DSW die gleiche, auf Performance ausgerichtete Gravelgeometrie wie sein Rennstallkollege. Der längere Reach sorgt für eine bessere Gewichtsverteilung und ein schnelles, souveränes Handling, während der niedrigerer Stack eine leistungsorientierte Fahrposition ermöglicht. Mit 72 mm Tretlagerhöhe haben wir den Sweet-Spot zwischen wendig und stabil getroffen.
- Kurz DSW ist ein patentiertes Konstruktionsverfahren, das auf Hydroforming basiert. Dabei werden Rohrverbindungen präzise aneinander angepasst und so bessere, stabilere Schweißnähte und letztlich ein leichterer Rahmen erzielt. Ein solcher Rahmen ist im Durchschnitt doppelt so langlebig als ein herkömmlicher Alu-Rahmen. Mit Smartweld können wir zum Beispiel ein einzigartiges einteiliges Unterrohr mit Tretlagergehäuse fertigen. Das spart Gewicht und verbessert die Kraftübertragung.
