By budget
Our pick under a price ceiling: the figures shoppers actually type.
Popular model lines
The model lines with the most stock at the shops we read, ordered by how many listings there are, not by how often they are searched for.
Brands
Every brand the shops stock in this category, alphabetically.
Already know the components you want?
Name the frame, the shifting, the wheels and the brakes. We show the cheapest bikes where we can confirm every one, and say how many we could not check.
How the picks are made
- We read every mountain bike the shops list, from their own product pages: price, stock per size, components.
- We score what you get: frame, groupset, wheels, brakes and weight, and we compare each price with what German shops charge for that equipment today.
- One pick per budget, and only if it is in stock in your size and priced clearly below that market rate. Otherwise we say there is no pick.
Discounts and RRPs never affect the ranking. How the ranking works, in detail.
Same bike, different price: the biggest gaps we saw today
The same build, in M/L, in stock at two shops. Only bikes we can identify with high confidence: a shared manufacturer barcode, or a full match on brand, model, drivetrain and model year.
